Another Christmas Light Hanging Casualty

Last week my friend was hanging Christmas lights at his house. I had nothing to doso I decided to help him. Most of my helping was standing outside handing him strands and being cold. At one point he was putting lights in the bushes and needed another strand. I went to get said strand.

His house has a porch without railings, as does his next door neighbors house and there is a two and a half foot gap between them. I was on the neighbors side of the yard, so I walked on their porch with the plan of jumping/stepping onto his porch. Apparently this gap was too wide for me to scale, because my foot slipped off, and I fell in between the porches and into the bush we were putting the lights on. My feet were in the air and I was lying on the ground.

My friend ran over thinking I had hit my head on the brick porch and gotten injured and some guy across the street saw the whole thing and yelled "Are you okay?" After much laughter, I walked away with only a small scrape on my leg.
