My roommate and I are embarking on a new endeavor. After some discussion, we found that both of us wanted to try eating like a vegan. We decided this week we are going to try it out. No animal products will be eaten. We both though it would be interesting to have to be so particular about what you eat. I don't think it will be a permanent change, we'll see how it goes though.

Props to you! You have an amazing ability to excercise discipline with your dietary choices, I still remember sugar-free lent :) Looking forward to hearing about this one!
This is only for a week, I think it will be easier than lent. Wait, weren't you a vegetarian for a while?
For a year. A vegan diet is much more strict - even though a lot of people consider it 'true' vegetarianism and I do think it's really noble, I shamelessly love cheese. And honey. And yogurt. And other animal products that didn't require death and were still favorite staples during my veg year :) How's it going so far?
You'll have to let me know how it goes. I'm a sucker when it comes to food- I couldn't do it!!!!!
